I. The premise

The early years deserve more than a feed.

Maria Montessori called it the prepared environment — a space arranged with intention, where every object earns its place and the adult's role is to observe, not to direct.

The parenting software that exists today is built on the opposite instinct — it wants your attention, measures your engagement, and mistakes activity for progress. We are building a quiet tool that does its job and gets out of the way.

II. The approach

Three commitments we are unwilling to negotiate.

i.

Observation, not optimisation.

No streaks, no badges, no score. The only thing worth recording is a small, honest note about what your child chose to do — and how it went.

No metrics theatre
ii.

For the adult, not the child.

The app is a preparation tool for parents — a way to learn the method, understand what your child is ready for, and grow as a guide. Your child never touches it.

The prepared adult
iii.

Intelligence that listens first.

Log what you observe. The AI connects the dots — surfacing what your child is developmentally ready for, explaining why, and helping you prepare the environment before they walk into the room.

A note from the work mat

"Tried the pink tower again, third morning in a row. Today she built it and walked away. Picked up the brown stair instead — first time in over a week."
